Mike Mazzei was elected to the Oklahoma State Senate in 2004 and brings a broad range of financial and business experience to the legislature. In 2008, Mike was re-elected for a second term of office. In July 2012, Mike was re-elected for his third term in office, with 74% of the votes. He currently serves as Chairman of the important Senate Finance Committee and as Chairman of the Senate’s Select Committee on Pensions.

Mike’s priorities for his legislative service are to confront the dangers that have been causing jobs, corporations, teachers and successful retirees to leave Oklahoma. He believes we can pursue the opportunities of successful job growth by reforming Oklahoma’s tax policy to be more competitive in the 21st century. He also believes that as we grow personal income, we will have more resources to invest in schools, roads and health care.

In his personal profession, Mike Mazzei, CFP®, is the President of Tulsa Wealth Advisors, which operates a branch of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. (Member FINRA/SIPC) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He created The Financial Freedom Process® to help individuals leverage their wealth in order to achieve their lifetime visions. He enjoys helping retirees and entrepreneurs develop comprehensive life, financial and investment strategies that enable them to reach greater success, enjoy life to the fullest and leave lasting legacies.

Senator Mazzei is a graduate of George Mason University and the College for Financial Planning, and is a member of the Financial Planners Association. Mike belongs to Asbury United Methodist Church and serves on the board for The Salvation Army.
